The moderator Shock4ndAwe of /r/pcgaming on Reddit announced that the community has decided to blacklist Elon Musk’s X platform. The decision was made due to concerns over the platform becoming increasingly hateful, toxic, and poorly moderated. The moderator specifically mentioned discomfort with promoting posts on X, citing recent controversial actions by Elon Musk, including an alleged 'Nazi salute' during a public event. Musk has denied the accusation, calling it a tired attack. As a result, users are now only allowed to share screenshots from X on the subreddit, and direct linking to the platform has been banned.
